High quality glass and polymer encased pH electrodes with small diameter stems that
are particularly useful for electrochemical reaction cell applications.-

Ag/AgCl Combination Electrodes

These Ag/AgCL Combination Electrodes feature narrow insertion stems that allow measurements of small samples inside of test tubes and narrow neck vessels. Available in several different stem lengths. All of these electrodes feature Ag/AgCl half-cells. The oeprational characteristics of the Ag/AgCl half-cell are given below.

Silver/Silver Chloride Half-Cell (Ag/AgCl)
Temperature Range:
-5° - 100° C Continuous Use
-5° - 130° C Intermittent Use
Ag/AgCl is a very stable half-cell that has a much higher working temperature than the calomel. Recommended for all applications except those involving TRIS buffer, proteins, metal ions, sulfides, or other substances that will react with either Ag or AgCl.

Polymer Bodied pH Combination Electrodes

These combination electrodes are designed for applications where rough handling and breakage are major problems, the bodies of these electrodes are made from impact resistant expoxy tubing

Particularly Suited for use with portable pH meters in the field and to make a spot check measurements of production processes.

Available with either Ag/AgCl or Calomel reference half-cells. The Ag/AgCl half-cell has the higher temperature rating, whiel teh Calomel hald-cell is recommended when measuring meats, broths, or any protein bearing sample.

Also available with either
-liquid-filled/refillable
-get-filled/sealed refernece.
The gel-filled design offers excellent results with minimum maintenance. The liquid refillable design offers measurement accuracy and reproducibility approaching that of a glass laboratory electrode.

All polymer electrodes utilize GP bulb glass featuring fast response over the range if 0-12pH.

All probes completely shielded for a stable signal while being hand held

All probes can be used continuously 0-80°C. The Ag/AgCl probes can be used intermittently up to 100°C.

Warranty: There is a one year manufacturer's warranty if an electrode is defective.

How to Order an Electrode

Please read the following information prior to order placement. There are four parts of information required for each item:

1. Electrode Model Number - Each electrode has a ten character model number.

2. Cable Type - All lab electrodes are equipped with Type A, low noise, 3mm, coaxial cable.

3. Cable Length - The cable length is expressed in feet immediately after the cable type.

Example: "-A03" stands for a three foot cable which is standard
for all our electrodes. Follow model numbers by
a "-DK" for a threaded electrode cap.

4. Connector -The cable length is followed by a two letter designation for the proper connector.
